No. It is downtown.
Yes. 4-7pm!
Best crab legs
I didnt see that on the menu or I would have double ordered.
No
Great as always, some say this place is too exspensive. No it not, because of the quality products they serve it's right on point
Great selection and great food and experiance!
Monday half-price crab legs overrated
Outstanding ! We went there on a whim and were totally delighted. James was an excellent server. The James River oysters were smaller than what we were used to but still good. But I'm here to tell you about the Shrimp Burger. The Shrimp burger was the best Shrimp burger I have ever had and I have had many. We will be heading back soon and It's a hour's drive for us.
Food is delicious. Very cozy. Really friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Great service and amazing food, especially the BBQ Cajun shrimp. Will definitely be returning regularly!
Great experience ! People who work at this place are really friendly and you want to come back rapidly when you have tasted the oyster at this place
Oysters are always delicious but they also have an amazing kale Caesar salad here. This is one of my favorite places to eat in downtown Anderson.
Excellent service, food, and cocktails. Went here a couple months ago craving an orange crush, and they whipped one up for me asap. Next time I went they remembered the drink. Definitely one of the best places to eat and drink in Anderson. Truly a gem!
Great food, friendly staff, nice outdoor space when the weather is nice.
Over priced, mostly a la cart. And tiny portions, my wife was still hungry .
The last 3 times I have eaten at Shucks the food has been horrible. The quality has has not been as good as previous visits. Service depends who is waiting on you.
Horrible wait even worse service food was ok but not worth the price their are much better places in Greenville and their worth the drive for
Awesome swordfish sandwich & delish Street corn ( corn in cob with a spread of butter, lemon, cream cheese & spices...nothing like it...awesome )!!!
The crab legs were cooked to perfection... so good we had 3 orders! Service was awesome and friendly!
Best menu at oyster bar I’ve ever experienced. Mac and cheese on point!!!
Awesome place with such a great environment and feel. Very good oysters and other selections
We set out on a motorcycle ride today, and headed for Shucks. As usual, it was a delight in every way. My Wife had the best Tuna Tar-Tar anywhere, I had the low country boil, and all of it was just as good as ever. Moreso, my wife got a great mixed drink, I had a nice Porter beer, and the waitress - who we suspect may also be an owner (nobody's that good who isn't) was friendly, crisp and professional, detail ready, and balanced all of that out perfectly. We're not going to move to Anderson just to be closer to Shucks, but if the wind blew us in that direction...
Awesome fresh seafood with a great, welcoming atmosphere!!
Awesome! I loved the raw oysters and the tuna burger. Finally a great spot to get high quality fresh seafood in Anderson.
Good service. Fresh oysters. Good atmosphere. The Jalapeno Pimento Cheese dip with Pepper Jelly is good too!
Hi, my wife and I went on a Friday evening, we ordered bluepoint,ct oysters, swordfish sandwich and shrimp burger. I would like to thank Nina for her pleasant smile and service and hats off to the chef. The menu is unique and the food was fresh and utterly delicious. Shucks adds class to our little town, I encourage everyone to give it a try. May God bless you.
Excellent food. Monday night crab legs special is great at a great price. Love the mac n cheese!
Love the staff here! Food is wonderful. Beer is satisfying, too. Superior vibe.
Okay beautiful place food was average...they put cheese on swordfish that was not so great that cane right off...as for the swordfish it was dry and over seasoned with old bay...we also had a shrimp plater...well we had better at the other seafood restaurant in town...btw I don't like...as for the oysters they were differently good come on it was a oyster bar...it gets a honest three stars....I would given 4 stars but..the oysters that was advertised on the menu board were not available...only the higher price oysters were available...no variety for an oyster bar 3 stars
This was our 1st time here but hopefully not our last. Friendly service and great food!
Great service! I did not catch the servers name but he was awesome tonight. The food was spectacular and the drinks were on point. We will definitely have to become regulars. They made my husband's birthday awesome
Down home gourmet fusion. Great selection of oysters and unique seafood creations, extensive beer selection and a top notch staff with good leadership. It's all about the service.
5 star dining and service!
Very pricey. But, outstanding food and service. Swordfish sandwich and special of the day- Scottish Salmon. Were awesome. Oysters were very good. Wish they'd had applachicola oysters though. Oh well can't have everything.
Really enjoyed the outside eating area.
Best seafood in the upstate! I would eat here every night if possible. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. I have tried a variety of the dishes and have never been disappointed. You can bet we'll be back.
Great food and service
Great every visit to Anderson
Great place! They have full bottles of wine for $13 on Thursdays. Plus our waitress/bartender was super friendly. The only reason I subtracted a star was because my husband was on a liquid diet (a morning blood test) and when asked for broth they brought us some with shrimp in it and I was shocked at the $16.50 price but I think it was just a misunderstanding.
The absolute best oysters in town.
Very disappointed! Very pricey for quality of food. Smallest oysters if ever been served anywhere!! Staff was friendly but that’s the only positive thing I can say.
This place was absolutely amazing. Sent my taste buds to a heavenly wonderland. I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeno popper oysters(my fave now, with its spicy creamy goodness) Rockefellar, and their raw oysters are some of the best I have had in the country. The West Va raw on a half shell is just perfection. Great craft selection. I had piece of cookie I think. Very delicious rich porter type. We also tried another light coffee beer that was delicious. We had market price steamed peel and eat with old bay and they were delicious and such a great price. The street corn was so delicious. We had such great conversation with both shuckers/bartender waiters. Awesome service. Cannot say enough good things. You won't regret it.
Great little place. James waited on us and was absolutely fantastic. He was just our speed. They definitely make you feel like a regular on your visit.
Great oysters and shrimp n grits.Pimento dip too.Service excellent. They really are friendly, the entire crewCould upscale a few wines would be a plus.
great food, awesome staff, must visit if in the area.
Outstanding food, beer selection and servers. The shrimp bowl was well done and second visit had shrimp chowder and low country steamer. Great chef. Servers are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and engaging. Would highly recommend
Food was good, small portions for the prices.
Oysters were great, hamburger was bland. Service was on the slow side, but very friendly.
Amazing. It's like Charleston without the drive!
Great little place. Had the swordfish burger & mac n cheese with a Columbia Lager. Highly recommend all! We'll be back.
Came in about 4:30 on a Tuesday. The place was very clean and presentable, the specials of the day were easy to see on the chalk board above the bar, and the excellent sound system was pumping out some great tunes. Wonderful atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly, cheerful and helpful with food and drink suggestions. I had half a dozen of the Bluepoint oysters, a Caesar salad, and a bowl of the smoked tomato soup. All the food was excellent, the oysters we're shucked perfectly, by the owner, the salad was fresh and crisp with the right amount of dressing. The tomato soup was very good, Smokey and not to savory, with a touch of sweetness. For dessert the owner offered creme brulee that was done perfect, smooth with a thin crispy crust. Overall a great experience. I'm very happy I stopped by and will certainly come back the next time I'm through town. Keep up the great work.
I have been looking for good seafood in this area since we moved here. This quaint restaurant does seafood right. My wife had a crab cake as an appetizer which was awesome. I had the jalapeno pepper oysters for appetizer and they were great as well. For our entree we had the lowcountry steamer plates which had sausage, potatoes, corn and shrimp; all of which was cooked very well. Best seafood I've had since moving from the Savannah GA area.
Good food and people
The best American South food, combined with an outstanding staff an owner! The only thing better than that is their Oyster shooter with jalapeno beer, mmmm mmmm!
